This festival is the most important in Valencia. It begins on March 15 and ends on March 19, when all the faults are burned before the astonished eyes of the spectators and Valencians. The creators and builders of these wonders have a day to assemble these amazing structures and paper mache figures throughout the city.

Surely there are hours of work, so these four days are amazing and make viewers want to return the following year as well as the next ones.

Artists, sculptors, painters, architects and other professionals spend months imagining, creating these giant dolls that can reach 30 meters in height. In addition to creating them, they must be mounted in the squares and large spaces of the city. These flaws can represent caricatures of men, political women, celebrities or even represent current events or have always happened satirically. The most beautiful buildings are rewarded.

Easter is one of the most impressive religious celebrations. It is a spectacle of tradition, culture, music, theatre and religion. Dates change every year, but you’ll still find processions and various forms of celebrations in early September. You don’t save any city, no matter where you stay, you’ll have the festivities in place. However, if you want to attend processions that will leave you speechless, Seville is the place to go.

This week is marked by processions, each of which is composed of a procession of two chariots: a representative, the Virgin Mary and the other Christ. The procession is slow, you will have time to enjoy the show. These tanks are transported by men called “coasters”.
You will not miss the “Nazarene” or penitents, you will be surprised to see them walk barefoot for more than 14 hours, as well as for their outfits very similar to those of the members of the Ku Klux Klan, pure coincidence, of course.
