OUR INTERNSHIP OFFER

We are offering you an internship as a gardener in a camping, these will be your functions during the time you are with us:

Gardeners plant and maintain public or private gardens and enclosures, and build structures in the garden.

Gardening tasks

• Prepare the soil, e.g. prepare the ground, install drainage and level the ground.
• Planting trees, hedges, garden plants, grass, etc.
• Building structures and facilities within the gardens, e.g. paths or paved areas, walls, rock gardens, lakes and water facilities, sheds and fences.
• Checking the health of plants and trees, identifying and treating weeds, pests and diseases, and applying fertilizers.
• Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges, and installing plant supports and protection.
• Tamping, mowing, oxygenating, and trimming lawns.
• Grow plants from seed or cuttings.
• Install, operate, and maintain irrigation systems.
• Tidy up garden areas (e.g., paths) by, for example, clearing leaves, snow, and trash.
• Maintaining and repairing garden tools, equipment, and structures.
• Advising clients on garden maintenance and answering questions.
