Menorca is Majorca’s little brother, more quiet with fewer visitors. It offers more beaches on a smaller populated area. The number 1 reason to visit Menorca are its beaches and its summer sun. Here are 4 visit attractions in menorca :

Binibeca Vell

Internship in Menorca - places to visit 2023 2Binibeca is a coastal village on Spain’s Balearic island of Menorca. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, it has narrow streets and whitewashed houses. You will find plenty of bars, restaurants and stores in this charming place. Nice little stop off, with plenty of opportunity to take great photos and dine alfresco. Lovely little place. There are lovely coastal walks all around here. Not much to do here, so worthy of a few hours only, perhaps whilst touring the coast. Very pleasant to walk around and enjoy the unique vista and close by bays.

Cala Macarelleta

Internship in Menorca - places to visit 2023 3It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in the Balearic archipelago and appears in most postcards of Menorca. This is a really stunning beach and well worth a visit, and the extra 10 minute walk from Cala Macarella. Macarelleta is undoubtedly a stunning beach and cove and you are close to the cliff edge. Little cozy beach with white sand and Cristal clear water and with a breathtaking view…best beach!!! The only thing, just be careful because there might be jelly fish.

Lithica

Internship in Menorca - places to visit 2023 4Historical landmark in Spain .a landscape of monumental proportions with a three-dimensional, sculptural beauty, have been redeveloped by Líthica and are today a very popular cultural centre. Such a fascinating place. Quite unique too. The paths are well marked and the various landscapes are really interesting to see. the quarry is captivating due to its dimensions, variety of greenery and the two mazes inside Lithica. Nature has reclaimed this abandoned quarry, tranquil surroundings with different landscapes, the different smells of plants and lots of insects to see. is so much more – lots of small and large gardens to walk through, mainly planted in the former stone works in different styles all with Mediterranean plants, never seemed to find the same path twice! Tranquil in parts with places to sit in the shade, lots of wildlife – various birds and dragonflies around the ponds and pools of water. It takes around 90 mins to small gift shop which also had a small selection of cold drinks.

Cala del Pilar

Internship in Menorca - places to visit 2023 5Cala del Pilar is a beautiful, rugged and sometimes windswept cove well off the beaten track in the north of Menorca, with reddish sands and crystal-clear waters. This beach is absolutelly fantastic. There is a lovely walk to it, no restaurants, bars that means no drunk, noisy turists…! Beautiful beach. Amazing views, perfect spot that you just cannot miss while in Manorca. it’s untouched by men, there’s nothing else around but just nature at its best. I suggest using hiking shoes to be more comfortable and safer. The view from the hill it’s beautiful, the red/brown colour of the rocks and the green of the bushes with the blue sea and gorgeous beach is outstanding. Must see if you’re a nature lover.
