Immersed in the vibrant world of hotel animation, I embarked on an internship that would allow me to bring joy, entertainment, and unforgettable moments to guests from around the world. Located in the sun-kissed landscapes of Spain, my internship in a hotel animation team offered a unique opportunity to combine my passion for hospitality with my love for performing arts and event coordination.

 

Ready, Set, Go

From the very beginning, I understood that hotel animation was more than just entertainment; it was about creating experiences that would leave a lasting impression on guests. As an intern, I worked closely with a team of talented professionals who were dedicated to crafting a diverse range of activities and shows to cater to the preferences of guests of all ages.My journey in the hotel animation department began with learning the essentials of event planning and coordination. From themed parties and poolside activities to cultural evenings and live performances, I discovered the art of creating engaging experiences that brought guests together, fostered connections, and ensured their stay was truly memorable. I learned the importance of meticulous organization, effective communication, and attention to detail in executing flawless events that exceeded guests’ expectations.One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was the opportunity to interact with guests from different cultures and backgrounds. I witnessed firsthand the universal language of laughter and joy as I engaged with families, couples, and solo travelers, creating personalized experiences that catered to their individual preferences. Whether it was organizing sports tournaments, leading dance classes, or hosting game nights, I embraced the challenge of creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where guests felt comfortable participating and connecting with one another.Language skills played a crucial role in my internship. Being fluent in Spanish and English, I was able to communicate effectively with guests, ensuring they felt at ease and understood. This allowed me to not only deliver clear instructions during activities and events but also engage in meaningful conversations, fostering a sense of genuine hospitality and making guests feel valued and cared for. During the internship

Creativity was at the heart of my role as an animation intern. I had the freedom to design and deliver my own activities, infusing them with personal touches and innovative ideas. Whether it was crafting arts and crafts workshops, choreographing dance routines, or hosting themed quiz nights, I relished the opportunity to bring my unique flair to the guest experience, leaving a lasting impression and creating moments of delight. The internship also provided a valuable learning experience in teamwork and adaptability. Collaborating with a diverse team of fellow interns and seasoned professionals, I discovered the power of synergy and the importance of open communication and cooperation. We shared ideas, supported one another, and worked together to ensure the seamless execution of activities and events. In a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, I learned to adapt quickly, think on my feet, and find creative solutions to unforeseen challenges. The behind-the-scenes aspect of hotel animation was equally fascinating. I had the privilege of observing and learning from experienced professionals in areas such as sound and lighting, stage management, and costume design. Understanding the technical aspects of production and witnessing the dedication and precision that went into creating captivating performances added depth to my internship experience and ignited a newfound appreciation for the intricate craftsmanship behind the scenes.

The positions that we offer are full time and the language requirements are B2 in English and B1 in Spanish. Monthly compensation, accommodation and meals are provided. You might also be eligible for the Erasmus plus grant. However, this needs to be discussed with your university. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.
