Bringing joy to guests: My experience as an entertainment trainee in Spain

During my work placement as an animation trainee in Spain, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the world of entertainment and to bring joy to guests from all walks of life. From working in lively resorts to enchanting theme parks, I discovered the power of animation in creating unforgettable experiences.

In this article, I’ll share my journey and the valuable lessons I’ve learned from spreading happiness and laughter to guests in Spain.

Embracing the magic of animation

As an animation trainee, I was given the task of bringing characters to life and creating magical moments for guests. Whether it was through interactive shows, parades or meetings, I witnessed the joy and wonder that animation can inspire.

The smiles on children’s faces and the laughter echoing in the parks have fuelled my passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.

 

 

Mastering the art of storytelling

One of the key aspects of animation is storytelling, and I’ve had the opportunity to hone my skills in this art form. Working with talented animators and writers, I learned how to create engaging stories that resonated with guests of all ages.

From developing scripts for shows to creating memorable moments in character interactions, I discovered the importance of connecting emotionally with audiences and leaving a lasting impression.

Fostering teamwork and creativity

Working in the animation industry has taught me the importance of teamwork and collaboration. I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse team of animators, interpreters and technicians, all dedicated to creating magical experiences.

Through brainstorming sessions, rehearsals and long hours of preparation, we nurtured each other’s creativity and pushed the boundaries to deliver exceptional entertainment.

This experience not only improved my technical skills, but also taught me the value of unity and cooperation in achieving common goals.

 

Spreading happiness and creating memories

One of the most rewarding aspects of my placement was witnessing the happiness and excitement in guests’ eyes. Seeing families come together, children’s faces light up and lifelong memories are created reminded me of the profound impact that animation can have on people’s lives.

It was a privilege to be part of creating these precious moments and contributing to the overall customer experience.

My experience was nothing short of magical. From embracing the power of animation to mastering the art of storytelling, I discovered the joy and fulfilment that comes from making others happy.

This internship not only allowed me to develop my creative and technical skills, but also instilled in me a deep appreciation of the positive impact entertainment can have on people’s lives.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have helped create unforgettable experiences and look forward to continuing my journey in the world of animation.
