Cathedral of Valencia

Valencia’s cathedral is a perfect example of the different cultures that have populated the city. Previously a Roman temple, it was first a mosque before being transformed into a cathedral in the 13th century. Recently renovated, it was possible to discover incredible Renaissance frescoes by removing the baroque vault that was covering them. True artworks, we can see twelve angels playing an instrument, but the real attraction of this cathedral would be the St. Gallen which is holding on its bosom. A famous bowl in which it is said that Jesus drank at the Last Supper, today can be seen in the chapel of the Holy Chalice.
