internshipThe Pico de las Nieves is a must-see in Gran Canaria. The highest point of the island, with 1,949 meters, the Pico de las Nieves, offers great experiences in the middle of nature. From the top you can enjoy the rugged, chiseled and steep landscape of the island.

 

 

 

Maspalomas

Maspalomas is one of the most popular resorts on the south coast of Gran Canaria. A must for all travelers, this coastal town is also home to a natural treasure: the Natural Park of the Maspalomas Dunes. A field of immense dunes (some over 10 meters high) stretches as far as the eye can see, facing the ocean. It is quite sumptuous.

 

 

 

Vegueta

Vegueta is the medieval quarter of Las Palmas.  The historic heart of the capital enchants with its mazeinternship of narrow streets, its many 15th century buildings and its cathedral.

Among the must-see places in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, do not miss the Casa de Colón, the emblematic building of the city. This rich architectural complex houses a museum dedicated to the conquest of America.

 

 

The Port of Mogán

Puerto de Mogán was originally a small fishing port with traditional houses, which in the 1970s was transformed into an exclusive seaside resort. Its marina today is home to some of the best yachts in the world, which has earned it the nickname of the Canarian Saint Tropez. The city is crisscrossed by numerous canals and small walkways and has a relaxing and romantic atmosphere.

 

 

 

Arucas

internshipArucas is one of the main historic towns in the north of Gran Canaria. It has a very rich architectural heritage dating from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The town became rich thanks to the banana and rum trade. Its cathedral of San Juan Bautista, built between 1906 and 1970, is one of the most impressive of the island.

 

Crocodile Zoo

Since time immemorial, many people have been interested in wildlife, with the problem that the animal has to die.

The Crocodile Park in Agüimes -Gran Canaria- welcomes many animals taken in or simply found by SEPRONA (Nature Protection Service), as well as individuals who were unaware of the risks faced by their pets when they reach adulthood, as the care required by these particular pets is much less than that required by traditional domestic animals.

 

Playa del Inglés is a coastal town located in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, where you can enjoy its wide beach and its bars.

 

Palmitos Park

Palmitos Park is a Spanish botanical garden and zoological park.

Today it occupies 24 hectares in the valley of the Barranco de los Palmitos.

There are 15,000 plants:

With a collection of palm trees (1,000 from all over the world), an orchid house, a cactus collection with some over five meters high.

There are also animals present such as

Monkeys, a bird collection with about 150 species, Reptiles, with Komodo lizards, spectacled caimans and canary lizards,

Numerous aquariums, a butterfly house,

And one of the four dolphinariums of the archipelago: it has a surface of 3,000 m², includes 3 tanks with more than 4 million liters of water. The dolphinarium has six bottlenose dolphins.
