The different destinations for our internships in Spain (2021)
BARCELONA: Barcelona is located on the northeast coast of the Mediterranean in Spain, about two hours drive south from the French Pyrenees.
It is the capital of Catalonia, a region of northern Spain that has its own culture, traditions and personality. Few European cities offer you the wide cultural diversity that you will find here in Barcelona. Add to that the 4.2 km of luxurious beaches, very close to the city centre, and the warm rays of the sun most of the year.
MADRID: Capital of Spain and commonly known as Villa y Corte. Madrid is the largest city in the country and the second largest in the European Union, with a population of over 3 million. During 2017 it was the most sought-after destination for tourists in Argentina. In 2012 Madrid received 8.8 million tourists, of which 5.3 million were national and 3.5 million international.
COSTA BRAVA: The Costa Brava is the name given to the coastal area of Spain that begins in Blanes and ends at the border with France, in Portbou. It is bordered to the north by the Costa Vermella and to the south by the Costa del Maresme. The Costa Brava is full of beautiful medieval villages, postcard beaches and charming corners. Today I share with you what, in my opinion, are the most beautiful places on the Costa Brava. Places you can’t miss on any trip to the Costa Brava or on a route by car.
COSTA DORADA: The Costa Dorada is the Mediterranean coast, located in the province of Tarragona. It lies between the Costa del Garraf, which it borders to the north, and the Costa del Azahar, located to the south.
The name “golden” comes from the colour of the sand of its long beaches. It covers a coastline of 92 km. with beaches of all kinds; from the small coves of the municipality of Mont-roig del Camp, as is the case of “Miami Platja”, or the cliffs that we find in Torredembarra, to the beaches of fine sand and little depth, as is the case of Salou, Calafell and Vendrell. On this coast we also find many naturist beaches, as is the case of the “Playa del Torn” located in l’Hospitalet de l’Infant.
ANDALUSIA: Andalusia is a Spanish autonomous community recognized as a historic nationality by its Statute of Autonomy,4 composed of the provinces of Almeria, Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaen, Malaga and Seville. Its capital is Seville, the seat of the Junta de Andalucía. The seat of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia is in Granada.
GIRONA: Girona is a city on a human scale, but with the attraction of big cities. Taking a quiet walk through the historic centre, visiting its monuments and museums, comfortably strolling through its streets and squares enjoying the tourist services, the cultural offer, the festivals, the restaurants, etc. are just some of its many proposals.
Visit us at any time of the year and, if you can, come more than once, because the city is alive and always has surprises to offer.
CANARY ISLANDS: The Canary Islands are an archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean that form an autonomous Spanish community with historical nationality status. It is also one of the outermost regions of the European Union. In space it is made up of eight islands, five islets, eight rocks and the sea.
BALEARIC ISLANDS: The Balearic Islands are a uniprovincial Spanish autonomous community, composed of the islands of the Balearic archipelago. They are located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. Its capital is Palma.*
The Canary and Balearic Islands are commonly considered the preferred destinations of international and national tourists thanks to their paradisiacal landscapes, their magnificent natural resources, their fine sand and their turquoise waters.
