As a Front Desk Assistant at a hotel in Lanzarote, Spain, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and efficiently managing front desk operations. Here is a list of potential duties for this position:

• Welcome and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring they receive friendly and professional service.
• Carry out paperwork required to check in guests, such as checking identification, collecting payment information and handing out room keys.
• Respond to guests' questions and concerns, providing them with information about hotel amenities, local attractions and available activities.
• Manage room reservations, including rebookings, changes and cancellations, using the hotel's reservation system.
• Provide accurate information on rates, availability and hotel policies, responding to inquiries by phone, email or in person.

 

• Assist guests with their needs, such as booking transfers, arranging excursions or recommending local restaurants.
• Perform administrative tasks such as handling invoices, preparing end-of-day reports and maintaining guest records.
• Manage room keys securely, ensuring they are properly checked in and returned to guests.
• Work closely with other hotel departments such as room service, housekeeping and accounting to ensure smooth service and optimal guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the front desk, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
