The Roman city of Pollentia
The most important archaeological site of the island, and the only one that can be visited, you will find ruins in Pollentia, discovered by chance in the seventeenth century, dating from the Roman era. Still excavated today, this site is declared an archaeological site protected by the Spanish government since 1963. Three places on the site are open to the public, the Portella, the forum and the theatre. If you like the era of Roman domination, you will love to visit this site during your internship!

Among its beaches, ponds and streams, this park has stunning landscapes.
On top of that, and if you’re lucky, you can see hedgehogs, falcons or bats there, because it has a flora and fauna of great diversity. Lovers of botany of pistachios, rosemary and lavender are often present. So, if you want to reconnect with nature, feel free to take a day to visit this magnificent place.
