Basic Requirements:

– Be an active student seeking curricular or extracurricular internship in studies such as: Nursing

– High level of Spanish

– English or other languages desirable.

– Minimum age of 18 years old

What are the tasks?

Assist with activities of daily living:Nurses assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and grooming, and encourage independence whenever possible
Collaborating with other healthcare professionalsNurses work closely with physicians, therapists, social workers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for each patient.
Document patient careNurses maintain accurate and detailed records of each patient's care, including medications, treatments and progress notes
Provide emotional supportNurses provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them cope with the challenges of ageing and illness
Managing emergenciesNurses are trained to manage emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, respiratory distress and falls, and initiate appropriate interventions to stabilize patients until emergency services arrive.
