I really enjoyed my internship with Animafest!
I was a cheerleader at a hotel in Gran Canaria last summer. It has been my first internship, and my first time in the Canary Islands, so I was very excited to take this opportunity.
The Animafest team helped me a lot and made sure to find the perfect hotel for me. I had a good time there because every day was different and I had a lot of fun! During the day I organized activities with the children, and I was able to practice my Spanish talking to them, I also participated in the evening entertainment program. We were even able to put out our own ideas. I like to dance and I was able to create my own dance choreography for one of our shows.
Together with my friends from the hotel we went to the other islands and my favorite is Fuerteventura. It’s a paradise. I did a basic surf course there and it was really great. And I can say that Canarian cuisine is very good.
The hotel team also supported me and I was sorry to leave them after 3 months.
